The 1000W 900ml Tomahawk Jet Cooker is a ultra efficient cooking unit designed by the Bushbuck team for the keen tramper, hunter and explorer who wants to save on weight but not compromise on performance and function . The cooker is great for 1-2 people. It weighs in at only 405grams and is compactly designed, saving you space in your pack. (Please note the 405 grams does not include the extra gas canister stand which weighs approx 30 grams).
It takes just over 2.3 minutes to boil 500ml (2 cups) of water and burns approx 100g of gas every 70 min ( Standard 230gram canister = 2.7 hours burn time). The Tomahawk cooker supports a standard 110g gas canister, MSR and Jetboil make this size of gas. The piezoelectric start system gets your cooker started quickly every time.
The Tomahawk Jet Cooker has a heat exchange system constructed into the bottom of the aluminum base to enhance heat efficiency. The pot comes with a heat protection cover to shield the flame from wind and to prevent heat from escaping.
A neoprene cover holds in the heat and allows for some gentle handling whilst she's hot. This pot has a tight sealing lid which has a sipper hole (drink Spout) and breather/(strainer) perfect for those late night/early morning coffees. In addition to this there is a red silicon knob in the center if the lid. This is compatible with out Tomahawk coffee plunger, the plunger screws into the red knob.
As an added bonus the pot can fit the plastic burning unit, canister base & 110g fuel gas canister all under lid. Making it tidy and compact for transportation in your pack and storage.
