The Defender Pant is a tough, no-nonsense 10,000mm waterproof outer-layer pants. It is constructed out of tough canvas which has been DWR treated, lined and seam sealed - making the pants a true performer in the rain & wind. Whether it is work on the farm or hunting in the weekend, the Defender Pants will keep you protected from the elements.
We have added a full leg zip to assist with taking on & off with boots on, the crotch has been gusseted to maximize comfort and flexibility and an articulated knee has been added to increase mobility and range of motion for those steep alpine climbs.
What is a 10,000mm waterproof membrane rating? if you had a 1 inch x 1 inch tube 10m high filled with water - this is the water pressure that the membrane could take before letting water in. If the membrane was fully sealed the garment would not be able to breath.
