Our Australian friends NEED our help!
Terrifying wildfires have ripped across Australia since September, destroying homes, forcing evacuations and tragically killing at least 24 people and countless animals.
The Australian Red Cross are doing everything they can but they need our help. You can donate on our website and all proceeds will be directly passed on or you donate directly on the red cross website: https://fundraise.redcross.org.au/drr
Since July 2019, Red Cross teams have responded to 30 emergencies (some of which have been going for up to 6 weeks) and supported over 18,600 people, through the efforts of more than 1,590 volunteers and staff.
Right now they are supporting thousands of people in evacuation centres and recovery hubs across Australia.
The Register.Find.Reunite service, which reunifies people who have been separated in the bush fire emergency, has registered over 30,000 people and taken more than 5,000 enquiries.
It’s thanks to people like you.
