The Defender Jacket is a tough, no-nonsense 10,000mm waterproof outer-layer jacket. It is constructed out of tough canvas which has been DWR treated, lined and seam sealed - making this jacket a true performer in the rain & wind. Whether it is work on the farm or hunting in the weekend, the Defender Jacket will keep you protected from the elements. 

What is a 10,000mm waterproof membrane rating?  if you had 1 inch x 1 inch tube 10m high filled with water this is the water pressure that the membrane could take before letting water in. If the membrane was fully sealed the garment would not be able to breath.
